Updated Decemby Hilton Webster: Many fans have may been left disappointed after Silksong's lack of appearance at either the Game Awards or recent Indie World showcases, and are still desperately clamoring for more news. As such, it can be pretty easy to miss much of the lore, and so much of this list will be interpretations of the melancholic state of the world of Hollow Knight. It is a story that can be understood on a surface level but needs digging to get to the deepest meaning. It's more subtle, relying on you making your own interpretations from the tidbits it offers.
